Quick Tips for Recording
- Hold Steady – Hold your phone with both hands to avoid shaky footage, or use a tripod or stand for more stability. For a wider shot, turn your phone sideways (landscape mode) instead of holding it upright (portrait mode).
- Good Lighting – Good lighting makes a huge difference. Try to face natural light, like a window, or use a lamp to ensure your face is well-lit. Avoid harsh backlighting.
- Clean Background – Make sure your background is clean and uncluttered. Choose a simple space or virtual background if you’re using Zoom.
- Look at the Camera – When speaking, look directly at the camera lens, not the screen. This will make your video feel more personal and engaging.
- Speak Clearly – Speak clearly and ensure you’re in a quiet place. Avoid noisy areas (like near a fan or traffic) to ensure your voice is easy to hear.
- Keep it Short – Aim for 30 seconds or less. Stay on topic and keep your message focused to maintain viewer attention.
- Test Before Recording – Do a quick test recording to check audio levels and lighting before recording your final video.
- Smile and be Yourself – Be enthusiastic and natural. Keep it simple and casual!
