For the first time in its history, the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) is opening its annual conference with a special evening event designed to bring the MS community together through story, connection, and shared purpose.

Join us on Tuesday, May 26 for the world premiere of Because I Can debuting on opening night of one of the largest MS conferences in North America.

Directed by 11-time Emmy Award winner Bill McCullough, the film follows Allié McGuire, co-founder of AwareNow Media, who chose to meet her MS diagnosis not with retreat, but with movement. What began as a commitment to keep going became a journey toward the starting line of Philadelphia Marathon weekend and a deeper exploration of what it means to live with MS.

Along the way, she meets others navigating the same diagnosis: an actress in Los Angeles, an artist in New York City, and an advocate in Michigan. Each story is different, yet connected by the determination to keep moving forward.

The evening will include:

• Red carpet arrival and reception
• Complimentary dinner and drinks
• World premiere screening of Because I Can
• Conversation with the filmmakers + special guests

This is more than a screening. It’s a moment for the MS community to gather, reflect, and begin the conference with inspiration, empathy, and hope.
