Infections are associated with most MS disease modifying therapies, but the risks and related management strategies vary considerably. Our faculty of MS neurologists and advanced practice providers will review 1) what therapies have what infection risks, including rare infection risks; 2) risk factors for infections; and 3) practical risk mitigation and management strategies, including pre-treatment screening, clinical and laboratory monitoring, alternate interval administration, and de-escalation.
