Achieving Health and Wellness While Living with MS

ACCREDITATION INFORMATION

The CMSC Annual Meeting provides a tremendous variety of credit offerings for attendees. Attendees can earn up to 28.5 contact hours of continuing education over the course of the meeting. This figure varies by professional affiliation and is based upon attendance at the maximum number of non-concurrent education sessions and satellite symposia.
In support of improving patient care, the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team
PHYSICIANS
The CMSC designates this live activity for a maximum of 18.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
NURSES
The CMSC designates this activity for a maximum of 18.0 nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) credits. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS
The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers is approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA) as a provider of continuing occupational therapy education. The CMSC estimates this activity will offer 16.5 contact hours. The CMSC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
PAs
The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 18.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
PHARMACISTS
The CMSC estimates that this knowledge-based activity will offer up to 16.5 contact hours (1.65 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit.
PSYCHOLOGISTS
The CMSC estimates that this activity will offer 16.5 CE credits.
REGISTERED DIETITIANS
The CMSC estimates that CDR Credentialed Practitioners will receive up to 15.25 Continuing Professional Education units (CPEU) for completion of this activity. Practitioners should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
SOCIAL WORKERS (THROUGH ASWB’S ACE PROGRAM)
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the CMSC is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. The CMSC maintains responsibility for this course. The CMSC estimates that social workers completing this course can receive up to 16.5 continuing education credits.

  2. Enter your username and password.

    All registrants have an account in Highmarks.
    *If you do not know your username or password, click on Forgot password. You will receive an email with a link to change your password.

Complete the Session Evaluations and Claim your CE credits

  1. Once you have successfully signed in, you will be taken to the DASHBOARD page. Go to CREDITS menu and select Live Activity Credits.
  2. Under Claim Credit, select ‘2022 Annual Meeting of the Consortium of MS Centers’ from the Activity drop down box.
  3. Click on [List Sessions by Activity] to choose a session title.
  4. Once you have selected a session, click on [Claim Credit]. You must confirm and attest to your attendance to claim credit.
  5. Complete the Session evaluation and hit [Submit] when you are finished. The next screen will show your total hours earned, and will update in real-time as you complete the session evaluations.
  6. Repeat steps 4 – 6 to claim credits for additional sessions.

GENERATE YOUR CERTIFICATE

PLEASE NOTE: Your CE certificate showing credits earned cannot be generated until you complete the overall evaluation.

Once the overall evaluation is available, the button [Complete Overall Evaluation] will be enabled. When you are finished entering all of your session evaluations, you may complete the overall evaluation.
Print/Email your certificate.
