Fundamentals of MS Care Part 2 The History of MS, Diagnosis, Managing Specific Population, and Comprehensive Care

These Sessions offer a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and management of multiple sclerosis. A comprehensive overview of MS will be presented to include epidemiology, immunology, pathophysiology, natural history, and clinical course. Presentations will include unraveling the complexity of making diagnosis and use of paraclinical tools. The challenges in diagnosis and managing progressive MS. Women’s issues including pregnancy, sexual function and menopause will be covered. There will be a comprehensive update on the use and effectiveness of marijuana in MS. Nursing presentations will cover the complexity of triage in MS and providing comprehensive care in a variety of settings.
